A BIT MORE...

A compact Aloe of South African heritage, this handsome succulent bears leaves featuring solid or spotted lines along the length of its toothless red-tinged margins. The leaves are very wide and 20” long , growing in 24”-wide rosettes atop a short trunk. In the early winter and spring, brilliant orange flowers will awaken an otherwise slumbering landscape. These rise approximately 2 feet above the leaves on branched stems. Give full sun to part shade, little water once established, and well-draining soil. The leaves will be yellower if in full sun, bluer if in partial shade. They are hardy to 20°F.
