A BIT MORE...

Native to Korea and Japan, this iconic tropical shrub bears huge (16” wide) deeply-lobed fanlike leaves on long stems. It grows to 5-8 feet high and wide and makes a strong sculptural statement. Roundish clusters of small creamy white flowers appear in fall and winter followed by inconspicuous round black fruit. Given full to partial shade, regular water and all soils except those that stay soggy, it will provide jungle ambiance for years to come. It is particularly well-suited to landscapes near pools. Keep in zones where temperatures do not dip below 20-25°F.
