A Bit More

Starts as a slow to moderate grower, but Cedrus atlantica gets pretty substantial in height and spread. Short blue-green needles give the entire tree a tufty, frosted appearance. This tree looks very open and quite angular in youth, but outgrows the awkward phase and fills in with age. Plant in an area with full sun, and room to spread. Cedrus atlantica is tolerant of most soil types, but don’t over water once the roots have established themselves in the landscape.
