Peter Van horenbeeck

I am humbled and proud to share that as of March 24, 2026, I was unanimously elected by our Board of Directors to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Boething Treeland Farms.

Since taking on the role of President in July 2024, I have had the privilege of overseeing all company operations and working closely with our leadership team to drive performance, drive our culture, and position the company for long term success. I remain deeply committed to leading with integrity, hard work, and a focus on our people, while continuing to drive our company’s vision of excellence, providing high quality trees and shrubs, delivering outstanding customer service, and fostering a sustainable relationship with nature.

My journey in horticulture began at the age of six in Belgium and was further inspired by receiving a greenhouse at age eleven. That passion ultimately led me to Boething Treeland Farms in December 1984, shortly after immigrating to California.

I began in the retail division before transitioning to the wholesale division in 1989, where I managed several growing grounds. Under the mentorship of our founder, John Boething, I developed a deep understanding of the business and was later promoted to Vice president of Production.

Following Mr. Boething’s passing in 2007, I continued to build upon his legacy, overseeing operations across more than 800 acres and multiple locations throughout California. Today, I am honored to lead a company that has been built on strong family values, hard work, and a commitment to excellence.

At Boething Treeland Farms, we believe in teamwork, communication, and mutual respect. Our dedicated employees, many of whom have been with us for decades are the foundation of our success. Together, we remain focused on delivering the highest quality trees and shrubs while enhancing the landscapes and communities we serve.

 

I look forward to continuing to grow our company, strengthen our partnerships, and build on the proud legacy established in 1952.
