It is ideal as a shade tree, street tree, privacy screen, or specimen in a landscape requiring less maintenance. Prefers moist, slightly acidic soil, but adapts to various types. Drought tolerant once established. It has improved heat/alkaline soil tolerance over other red maple cultivars. Generally fire resistant. Female selection. Excurrent habit.
