A Bit More

A glorious swirl of color, Aeonium ‘Kiwi’ is sometimes known as Aeonium ‘Tricolor’ or Aeonium haworthii ‘Dream Color’. Rosettes, measuring 3-5” in diameter, are comprised of pale to medium green variegated leaves that are edged in bright pink or red. It is no wonder that the Kiwi Aeonium has received an Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society. In the summer, the plant presents stalks of yellow blooms. Over time, the rosettes grow into mounds 2-3’ tall and 1-2’ wide.  Aeonium ‘Kiwi’ is a frost-tender succulent, hardy to 25-30° F, and it thrives in well-drained soil and partial sun/bright shade, making it a good candidate for indoor containers and rock gardens.
