It forms “pups” that ensure its survival even after the bloom expected after 20 years’ time. The rosettes resemble artichokes. Given part shade to full sun in milder areas, good drainage, and little to moderate water, it will thrive nicely. The 12’ tall flower stalk bears yellow flowers. It can withstand temperatures hovering around 10°F.
