Agave ‘Sharkskin Shoes’ is a slow-growing, succulent hybrid with thick, rough, olive-gray-green leaves that have a smooth margin and a sharp terminal spine. It produces (rarely) yellow-green flowers on a 10-20′ tall stalk. As it is monocarpic, the main plant will die after blooming, but will reproduce by offsets. Prefers full sun, but can tolerate light shade in areas with hot climates. Requires well draining soil, sandy or rocky is best.
