Agave weberi ‘Arizona Star’ is a fast-growing, large, succulent that features variegated, blue-green, and creamy-white striped leaves with margins that are smooth or have very small teeth and a sharp terminal spine. It produces a 20–30′ spike with yellow flowers once at the end of its life; usually after 10-15 years. Used as an accent in desert/coastal landscapes or as a screen/hedge barrier when planted in groups. Tolerant of poor soils, but needs excellent drainage. Prefers full sun, but best in partial shade in hot, inland climates. Deer and rabbit-resistant. Fire-resistant. Cold hardy to -10°F.
