Aloe ‘Hercules’ is a fast-growing hybrid tree aloe known for its massive trunk, its crown of thick, triangular, dark green leaves and sporadic salmon-orange flowers. Its peeling bark has a unique ”tiger-stripe” pattern. Uses include as a focal point, specimen tree, as part of a succulent garden. It can also be used as an informal screen or hedge. Prefers full sun but can tolerate partial shade. Very drought-tolerant once established. It does best in gritty or sandy soil, but must be well-draining. Fire-resistant. Deer and rabbit-resistant. Generally, very insect and disease-resistant. Verticillium Wilt-resistant. Cold hardy to 20°F.
