A Bit More

Short and sweet, Campanula poscharskyana is a pretty little groundcover. Serbian Bellflower has a generally agreeable habit, quickly filling in empty space in a landscape, but not so aggressive that it crowds other things out. Gentle mounds of green leaves are evergreen in milder climates, and liberal sprinkles of periwinkle violet flowers provide repast for hungry pollinators. Other than regular water, all Campanula really needs is the occasional shearing to keep tidy. Plant Serbian Bellflower in light shade in hot climates, and in full sun anywhere else.
