It also produces flowers in peach, yellow, apricot, red. Foliage is sometimes variegated. Uses include specimen container plant, indoor houseplant, mass planting in shade borders, and woodland gardens. Plant in partial to full shade. Will not tolerate full, hot sun. Medium to low water use; thrives with regular moisture but remarkably drought-tolerant once established. Best in rich, loose, well-draining potting soil or in compost-amended ground.
