The yellow markings take on a reddish coloration as leaves mature in the summer, and spring brings new yellow growth, resulting in an entire lovely sunset color palate all in one shrub.
Mirror Bush is not difficult to keep happy. Along the coast it thrives in full sun, but inland where things are warmer, it benefits from partial shade. Medium water needs and light frost tolerance round out the indications for care.
