A luminous Crassula, Echeveria ‘Afterglow’ forms singular rosettes with a pale-blue to lavender-pink ombre effect, punctuated with pink margins. Each incandescent rosette grows to 1-2’ in diameter on short trunks and sends forth lavender stalks with orange blooms in the summer. Cold hardy to 20° F, plant ‘Afterglow’ in full sun to partial shade. After establishment, this succulent needs little water and is deer and drought tolerant. Echeveria ‘Afterglow’ is breathtaking in masses against a backdrop of greens or blues and as accents in containers and mixed borders.
