Dead-heading or pruning spent flowers will usually produce a new round of flowering. Often grown as a standard and a multi-trunk tree. Non-invasive roots. Uses include as a focal point, screen, hedge, street tree. Tolerates urban heat and pollution. Needs and thrives in full sun and is very shade-intolerant.
