Lantana camara ‘Radiation’ is an evergreen/semi-evergreen shrub with a dense, mounding, rounded habit and featuring deep green, serrated leaves and multicolored flower clusters opening with yellow centers and changing to orange, and finishing red. Long-lasting blooms start from spring through fall (year-round in completely frost-free zones). Foliage is strongly aromatic. While evergreen in most mild to hot climates, it can lose it leaves or dieback in cold climates. Best then treated as an annual. Uses include groundcovers, mass plantings, informal screens and hedges, accent shrub, containers, erosion control. Excellent in seacoast and desert landscapes. Very tolerant of urban conditions. Medium water use when installed and acclimating; Low water user once its root system establishes. It is highly adaptable to soil conditions; thrives in almost any well-draining soil, from poor and rocky to sandy. Low shade tolerance; it requires full sun for best bloom. Deer and rabbit-resistant. Resistant to Verticillium wilt. Not cold hardy; can be damaged at 32°F.
