Laurus ‘Saratoga’ is a broadleaf, evergreen tree with a decurrent, rounded habit and featuring glossy, olive-green leaves with red-tinged petioles and new growth, and showy, pale, creamy-yellow flowers. Foliage is aromatic and culinary. It is a male-clone and produces no fruit. Non-invasive roots. Commonly grown as a standard tree and multi-trunk. Uses include street trees, screens, windbreaks. Excellent in seacoast landscapes and useful in desert landscapes with occasional deep watering. Very tolerant of urban conditions.
